I have my original picture as a layer, then I make a new layer, so I click on it, and go to File>Open and I select the file I want as that layer, and when I open it up, there is a whole new photoshop that replaces the one I was working with earlier with [...]
I want to export the layers to Adobe Photoshop or Adobe fireworks, so I can add animation to only one layer. Also, which program is better for animated gifs.

Well, i just installed indesign cs3 and i would like to open saved files from my photoshop cs3 with my indesign, but it doesnt work. I saved on most of the file formats but indesign doesn’t recognize any of them, so i cant open saved files from PS. Im still new so yeah, help please?
